EMOTIONS ARE TRULY UNDERRATED

Emotions are nothing but an immense rush of feelings for the state of circumstances and instances surrounding our lives. They have truly been underrated and crucified as a pure heat of the moment clouds that cloud our judgement at that time. People that call themselves emotionless, empty and stone hearted presume to be looked at and come across as a truly determined person which obviously isn't true.

The movies have long influenced the current youth of the world with stories glorifying and celebrating protagonists that present themselves with emotions that make them more appealing to the audience that hoot and cheer their heroism. Emotions are no longer the medium through which actors convince their audience about the realism of a story rather it has become a commercial graveyard where we bury the authenticity of the story in order to glorify trivial and useless emotions that give an instant dopamine hit and adrenaline rush.

People often mistake emotions for the bookish stereotype that has manifested over the years of giving long monologues with Shakespearean words but the thing is, it could be as genuine and small as a heartful smile or cry towards something we really feel connected to. Crying is also seen as a taboo among men in the society and also the easiest option for women to go after when in a complex situation. But, in reality even crying is a deep rooted emotion that deserves a lot of responsibility to display. As we grow up, we start feeling the real weight of a single tear drop because it not only conveys the emotion of a person but also bears the weight of years of experience and pain in it.

One genuine smile from our face can brighten the spoiled mood of another person. All these emotions aren't something that living beings have but these are what makes us living. A smile for the happy parts, a cry for the sad parts, an anger for the screwed up parts, a melancholy for the ironic parts, a few happy tears for the achievement parts and a lot of nuanced mix of emotions for every situation and strands of life.

A human being has so many things to think about in life but only a few sets of emotions to actually express them out to the world and feel like you fit into it. Being an emotional person is not reflective of your character of making rational decisions in tough environments. Trying to suppress emotions only makes us more vulnerable to harsher situations in the future rather than empowering our personality itself. We can appear strong by posing a poised face but we should never be an emotional wreck mentally behind that.

In conclusion, all I can say is that even an ape is an emotionally intelligent being so why do some civilized and highly intelligent people make it so difficult to express such emotions. It's always okay to emote feelings late but it's never okay to mute ourselves and stop emoting stuff.
