CHAOS, A CHOICE OR A NECESSITY?

One thing we always are complaining about in life is the fact that there is chaos surrounding it, the chaos of meeting deadlines, matching expectations, spending time with people, and most importantly succeeding at whatever we are trying to do with our life. Amidst all the chaos, there is sometimes a brief period where we get the leisure to be relieved of all the stress that we've garnered over a certain period in which we don't particularly need to be productive. That time when we can have our brains idle is when people fall apart.

Getting through a hectic day is one kind of pressure and we must overcome that to achieve anything at all, but the litmus test to that is always how a person overcomes that leisure. It sounds very ironic that getting through a rest period is also a criterion for success. The reason for that is, a simple quote AN IDLE MIND IS DEVIL'S WORKSHOP. This means, that when we have nothing to make the mind do, it will start thinking of everything that we don't have to. We will start questioning things that we wouldn't have otherwise; we will look into things in detail because we have all the time in the world at that moment and need not rush to do stuff.

The one thing we will always question is, what are we doing with our life? and when the day comes, when you can with confidence answer that simple but complicated question, that is when you know you've passed the litmus test to make anything at all in life. You see all the things we need to make big in life like confidence, desire, capability, and a tad bit of luck too but another important one is clarity. Clarity as to why we are doing what we are doing. Clarity is what gives us the ultimate quantity of the remaining qualities we require. At the summit, the satisfaction of the achievement is at its zenith only when we have the clarity as to why we got there.

Idle mind not only makes us question things but also takes us a trip down the memory lane, where the chaos wasn't an integral part of your life and makes you miss stuff that you had. It will make you miss things that were bad for you but don't show how and what you lost them. Idleness is what we crave for the most in life but get screwed over the most with it too. Our brain is programmed in such a way that it needs focus to operate in the best way and when we are idle that focus is gone. So, whatever is behind our heads is shed light upon and made to think to regain that focus.

Not being idle is the most ideal way for a human being to operate in the chaos surrounding the world we have. When we need to rest, we don't have to isolate ourselves from this chaos. We just have to take a few steps away from it and take lesser stress. Isolation only fills your brain with thoughts that you don't have answers for. Retrospection is good to be cautious about things you did wrong the last time and not when your brain has nothing to do right now. The best relaxation is not to sit alone in your backyard, it is to talk to people you hold dear and have a giggly conversation.
