HEALTH BEYOND THE EYE SIGHT

Hey, so you made it till here huh. Thank you I guess, most of the people who see a blog link 4 out of 10 ignore it, 4 out of them see the title and might or might not click on it and 2 of them probably might read it to the end. So, for those who got till here, I hope you are fine.

So, what's this blog about? Ahh you already read about it a thousand times already especially since the last year, MENTAL HEALTH. Okay, now I guess another one left the blog after I told that, but thanks to the one who stuck around. Too many thanks huh, I know but nothing wrong in appreciating small efforts especially when they contribute to someone's mental health.

I won't bore you with all the basic stuff you are already aware of. Basically, you need to take care of yourself both physically and mentally that’s the conclusion after reading or skimming through all the articles right. Let's explore the needs and attainment of mental health in my perspective.

When you have a physically fit body, people generally get attracted to you. You might even be your group’s alpha, basically you are the center of attention. But, in reality do you think that it is only because you are an attractive person?  Nope, it's because your physical fitness boosts your morale, self-confidence and that in turn infuses your mind with positive approach, happiness and harmony with oneself. These are what make one’s mental health good enough to cope with whatever is thrown at it and brings an eternal state of bliss.

Physical fitness is just a bit of an advantage for leading a happy life, Mental health is the main ingredient for your special dish called LIFE. Just as how we lift weights in physical fitness, we need to lift a heavier thing called EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE for mental fitness.

WHY DO YOU NEED MENTAL HEALTH?

No matter how well I describe it, I can’t validate its true worth but there are a few fundamental use case scenarios.

1) Better cope up with breakdowns

People often have these, especially when they lose something beloved to them which is every other day for a modern-day citizen.

2) To maintain good relationships

In a room with two polar opposite personalities, one blistering positivity in all directions and one oozing negativity anywhere he walks. If needed to approach someone, most of you'd blindly pick the first guy. If you by any chance chose the second one, you might be a negative guy just like him or maybe an uncertified wannabe psychiatrist like me who wants to help him. But point is being positive means a few extra people in your life who care for you and vice versa, which is never a bad thing.

3) Patience and decision without haste

When you find your apt mental health, it fills that void in you and keeps you grounded, increases your patience levels and attitude of maintaining peace with oneself. You will be able to properly analyze the problem at hand and take the best decision in the direst of situations.

These are all just a little glimpse of its complete potential.

HOW TO FIND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH?

1) Maintain good sleep cycle

Well, it’s cool to have a cup of coffee in the midnight, keep bingeing your favorite show till you get bored and then see the clock showing 3 o' clock and start transforming into your most vulnerable phase or form and questioning every single decision in your life from the biggest mistake of your life to why did you have that breakfast in the morning. All of it is cool, but what would be cooler is sleeping early and waking up early in the morning to have the same coffee with the company of the sunshine soaking you all over your body giving both positivity and vitamin D.

2) Eat well

Well, you see this everywhere. Mental health or not just eat well and accept your privilege humbly as millions out there can't eat half of what you are eating right now.

3) Ask for help and improve your understanding about people

Asking for help doesn't make you neither vulnerable nor weak but actually gives you more strength in return. Never hesitate and pull yourself back, someday you'll hit the wall. Understanding people is a very under-rated thing. You demand for a better world building and want to connect to a fictional character in your favorite movie or show that you watch for like 2 hours or 2 months at most and want to understand that character in all ways possible but cannot put in efforts for understanding a person who might plausibly stay forever in your life if all things fall in place.

CONCLUSION

You reached till the ending huh, well I won't thank you again don't worry. I know a lot of people won't read this because it is lengthy and I don't regret it because cutting it down further just doesn't justify what I'm writing for. But, for that one person who is reading this right now, I just hope you curl your mouth upwards and have at least something to take away from this big ass blog. I just want to conclude that mental health is as important as anything you hold dearest to you. I hope you do stuff that stands out in your niche and succeed in life.
